2. Information We Collect

If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and description of your situation or message. You may also provide a business or project name and select the services you need. If you submit a game score to our leaderboard, we collect the initials and score you choose to submit; those entries are stored in our website database and may appear on the public leaderboard. Our site also uses the browser storage and technical hosting cookie described below. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or another visitor-analytics tool.

3. How We Use Information

We use contact-form information to respond to enquiries, manage an ongoing business relationship, and respond if you contact us again. We use submitted initials and scores to operate the game leaderboard. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their marketing.

4. Contact Form and Email Provider

When you submit the contact form, the information you provide is sent through Resend, our email delivery provider, to hello@tackli.co.uk. We do not write contact-form submissions to the website's database. After a successful submission, a copy is held temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage to populate the thank-you page and is removed when that page reads it. If you do not reach that page, browser session storage may remain until the tab or browser session ends.

5. Legal Basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, maintaining business relationships, and operating the website and its optional leaderboard, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Where a particular activity requires consent, we will ask for it; you may withdraw that consent.

6. Retention and Deletion

We keep enquiry correspondence in our email mailbox for as long as the mailbox holds it—potentially indefinitely—to maintain an ongoing business relationship and in case you contact us again. There is no automatic 24-month deletion period. You can request deletion by emailing hello@tackli.co.uk; we will handle the request in accordance with your applicable rights and any legal obligations to retain information. Leaderboard initials and scores have no automatic expiry in the website database; you can also contact us to request removal of an entry.

7. Cookies and Browser Storage

Our hosting infrastructure sets GAESA, a technical cookie used for session-affinity routing; it generally expires after approximately 30 days. The site uses localStorage to keep the theme migration marker (tackli-theme-v2), your selected theme if you change it (tackli-theme), and a game high score if you play (tackliHighScore). The contact form's temporary sessionStorage use is described above. These browser-storage items are not analytics cookies. See our Cookies Policy for details.

8. Your Rights

Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise a right, including requesting deletion of an enquiry or leaderboard entry, email hello@tackli.co.uk.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

We use Resend to deliver contact-form emails. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's font-serving domains when loading the site. Our X/Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and tackliboost.co.uk links are outbound links, not embedded trackers: those destinations are not loaded merely because you view our page. If you click one, the destination may receive Tackli's origin as a referrer and will handle your visit under its own policies.

10. Security and Changes

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, although no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this policy and will post the revised wording and its updated date here.
